A Group Dedicated to Engaging, Inspiring, and Empowering the Future Leaders of Macon-Bibb.
Chess & Community is a youth empowerment organization that uses Chess, Robotics, and Community engagement to empower Macon-Bibb youth. Chess and Community was established in Macon Georgia in 2022. Chess and Community is dedicated to empowering Macon-Bibb youth by exposing them to activities that will propel their growth.
Regional Director
Chuck has been dedicated to the empowerment and development of youth for over 20 years. Charles “Coach Chuck” Henderson is the Regional Director of Chess and Community Macon, where he leads youth development initiatives through strategic learning and mentorship. A proud graduate of Fort Valley State University, he also serves as a Program Coordinator with Upward Bound and sits on the board of directors for Dreams Academy at Bethel AME Church. Known for his unwavering dedication to empowering youth, Charles is a respected community leader committed to creating a lasting impact.
