In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chess and Community suspended all programming in a manner consistent with the local shelter-in-place mandate. However, the needs of our participants and our community have become too great to demand anything less than creative action.

We believe that continuing our work is necessary. Chess and Community staff has developed engaging online programs to benefit our students and parents during the shelter-in-place mandate. The listed program are examples of how we are continuing to enrich our students. We have witnessed an increase in student participation with our online programming.
