Annual Chess-a-Thon: Battle Royale

Chess and Community Inc. is thrilled to host our inaugural Chess-a-Thon: Battle Royale- a day long tournament-style chess event with a noble cause. We are excited to bring together our vibrant Athens community and chess aficionados from the Northeast Region for a day of strategic and intellectual battles on the chessboard. This event serves as a rallying point, uniting us in our shared passion for chess and our commitment to the growth and development of our youth. Our primary purpose is to raise funds to support our organization's programs aimed at nurturing and empowering the local youth, molding them into future community leaders. Everyone young and old are invited to come out to play at this free public event. The event will be held on October 14th, 2023 from 10am-3pm.
